𝔸𝕟 𝕦𝕟𝕔𝕠𝕟𝕤𝕔𝕚𝕠𝕟𝕒𝕓𝕝𝕖, 𝕔𝕦𝕣𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕧𝕖 𝕗𝕠𝕣𝕔𝕖

I am an indiscriminate gear-head; ICE or EV offer the same thrill. I am either entranced by the rhythmic thumping of my H-D Springer or awakened, I drown in the sounds my Zero SR/S’ whisper lets me hear. I am solaced by most drives. In my youth, I’d pore over a knee-high stack of auto mags or proudly identify marques by their headlights signatures. Now, I shadetree and lose myself in motors. I’ve skinned knuckles and stripped bolts; my dog knows the sound of my VeeDub, one block away. Vehicles comfort me, not just for transport but that they open conversations and draw our focus on something other than our differences; we wrench on cars to fix our lives. I’ve owned 77 cars, trucks and motorbikes, including 3 EVs and I still look over my shoulder as I walk away, to admire my ride. I know I’m not alone.

ICE vehicles have been what drove us. Now we’re shifting to the EV paradigm and it is a quick heel-toe. Interestingly, it’s happening to us all at the same time levelling the ground and making the pursuit of EV knowledge, common. The path of PLUGGED IN RIDE’s 1-2-3 road map (see our About Us section) familiarizes PIR’s credo: DRIVE – BUY- LEARN. This 1-2-3 maps our relatability while PLUGGED IN RIDE helps plot our solutions.
